The Abitibi Golf Club is located in the center of town and is just a short ten minute drive off of Highway 11 (Trans-Canada Highway).  Established in 1921, just under 3,000 yards layout is an easy walk for all ages and a good challenge for players of all abilities.  One of the best conditioned golf courses in Northeastern Ontario this public track is ideally suited for family golf outings.  The Abitibi Golf Club is a golf facility with a modern spacious licensed clubhouse and an extensive pro shop with top quality merchandise at rock bottom prices. Green fees are very affordable and club and cart rentals are available.

Mens' night is every Tuesday, mixed nights are held on Wednesdays, Ladies' night is every Thursday and 2 for 1 Fridays special all season long. Green fee players are welcome at all times. Please call the clubhouse to avoid any conflict with tournaments.  The Abitibi Golf Club is noted for its warm, friendly atmosphere.
